The Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, Danladi Umar on Wednesday kept the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, waiting for one hour-forty minutes before commencement of trial.
Umar had previously announced that the tribunal shall commence sitting as from 10pm till 6pm on a daily basis.
Checks by DAILY POST revealed that Umar had previously kept the Senate President waiting.
Umar had yesterday arrived the tribunal one hour-forty minutes late without an apology.
However, at today’s resumed hearing, Umar apologised for coming late saying, “I’m sorry for coming late and by tomorrow, we will start by 10 o’clock.”
