Nigerian telecom giant Glo has ended its sponsorship deal with League Management Company (LMC)organisers of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Glo has been the chief sponsors of the NPFL but ended its deal with the league after the conclusion of the Super Four tournament that held in Uyo.
The deal specifically ended last Friday, February, 5 .
According to a member of the Nigeria Football Federation Marketing Committee, Colin Udoh, the LMC is replacing title sponsorship with six-tier elite partnership model.
The Premier League in the same manager ended their deal with Barclays as they are set to strike sponsorship deals with a host of secondary rights partners.
