Around 10 individuals were dreaded dead yesterday, in new assaults between Fulani herders and agriculturists at Tom-Anyiin and Tom-Ataan groups, Mbaya, Tombu in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State. The Council Chairman, Godwin Iorsue, the Divisional Police Officer at Buruku, the Area Commander and some security agents in the zone, on evaluation voyage through the groups, were trapped and assaulted by the herders who had grabbed the range after they pursued off the indigenes.
