Jaelyn Valencia may be just two minutes older than her brother Luis but the twins were born in different years after they arrived before and after the clock struck twelve on New Year’s Day.
The baby girl was born at 11.59pm on New Year’s Eve in San Diego’s Kaiser Permanente Zion Medical Centre in Mission Valley. While her brother arrived three minutes later at 12:01am.
Although Jaelyn is older, the little girl weighed just 4lb15oz at birth while her brother tipped the scales at 5lb9oz.
The twins were welcomed by their mum Maribel (22) and their dad Luis Valencia.
The couple have another daughter, Isabella, who is three years old.
