President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday told the folks of the missing Chibok young ladies that he didn't know where their little girls were.
The folks, 136 of them, together with individuals from the Bringbackourgirls (BBOG) development, merged on the feast corridor of the presidential manor, looking for answers to the whereabouts of the 219 missing schoolgirls from Chibok in Borno state.
In any case, they were stunned and broken when the president let them know in unequivocal terms that he didn't have any data on their whereabouts.
Talking with TheCable soon after a 45-minute meeting with the president that writers were banned from going to, Aisha Yesufu, a pioneer of the BBOG development, said that the backing gathering would continue requesting the protected salvage of the young ladies from the administration.
"The president said he had no trustworthy knowledge on the missing Chibok young ladies. He said he is some individual who does not lie. Also, he won't begin by lying," Yesufu said. "We are not saying the president ought to lie, but rather when you are stating there is no trustworthy knowledge, and that the young ladies are scattered and offered; then how would we know? These are two things.
"Also, he said it (kidnapping of the Chibok young ladies) happened amid the last organization. I discover it exceptionally troubling. I recall one of the folks asked what he implied by saying it happened in the last organization. Does it mean the young ladies won't be saved? "I might want the president to realize that there is no vacuum in government. That it happened amid the last organization is not a reason. It is obligation of the Nigerian government to guarantee that the Chibok young ladies are saved. It is their privilege and not a benefit. Also, where we have fizzled there is a requirement for us to apologize.
"With respect to me, I was awfully pitiful and stunned in light of the fact that the president did not take a gander at the folks to say 'we are sad as a country for your kids who have been kidnapped for 21 months'. "The president completed his discourse, he dropped the amplifier and exited. What's more, I believed that could have been a minute for him to join with the folks. "We will proceed with our crusade. We couldn't care less who the leader of the legislature is. It is obligation of the Nigerian government to protect the Chibok and we will keep making our requests. The administration ought to stop the reasons." Earlier, the president had requested columnists out of the venue of the meeting in light of its "touchy" nature.
