Staff of the campaign organization of former President, Goodluck Jonathan, have reportedly petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), over the role of the campaign’s media director, Femi Fani-Kayode, in the funds received by the team for campaign.
The petitioners said Fani-Kayode received N1.7billion from the embattled former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki. They even provided evidence against him.
You all know that Dasuki is already standing trial for "diverting" about $2.1billion arms funds, which was disbursed to PDP politicians and associates of Goodluck Jonathan, instead of buying arms.
A source in the administration of Jonathan, disclosed to Sahara Reporters that Fani-Kayode directly got the N1.7billion from Jonathan through Dasuki.
The source said Fani-Kayode took the money as the spokesman for Jonathan’s Presidential campaign.
The report states that shortly after his receiving the funds, Fani-Kayode acquired several SUVs, including one for his sexy girlfriend, Precious Chikwendu.
