Nigeria U-23 coach Samson Siasia says he is yet to decide on the players he will be taking to the Olympic Games next year.
The 48-year old was speaking in reaction to several reports he had decided on the players he would be taking to Rio, Brazil, as he said he is yet to make up his mind on such, and is taking his time to clear his head.
“I haven’t decided on the players I want to take to the Olympics and I haven’t told anybody otherwise,” said Siasia.
“It is still a long time between now and when I will pick players for the Olympic Games, so I haven’t decided yet. What I want to do now is to relax and clear my head on what I will do when the time comes,” he stressed.
Nigeria won the 2015 Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal and qualified to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and there have been speculations ever since on the players that will be selected for the event.
