A 31-year-old Murfreesboro lady was captured Wednesday and accused of endeavored first-degree murder after a fizzled endeavor to end her pregnancy, as indicated by a report from the Murfreesboro Police Department.
Anna Yocca of Swindon Circle is blamed for utilizing a coat holder to end her pregnancy in September, Detective Tommy Roberts reported. She was 24 weeks pregnant then.
Yocca was prosecuted by the Rutherford County fantastic jury in December and is being held in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on $200,000 bond. Her court date was set for Dec. 21.
Roberts reported Yocca filled a bathtub with water, "took a coat holder and endeavored to self-prematurely end her pregnancy." Because of the measure of blood, she "got to be worried about her security" and her beau took her to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
Yocca was transported to Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville where therapeutic experts could spare the youngster, who measured 1.5 pounds.
Roberts said he talked with specialists and medical attendants who reported Yocca said she needed to end the pregnancy.
