Real Madrid manager Rafa Benitez believes he still has the support of his players and says there is no conflict with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Benitez thanked Real president Florentino Perez for his vote of confidence on Monday, which followed a 4-0 home defeat by Barcelona.
"I am absolutely confident that players still trust me," said the 55-year-old.
On reported tension with Ronaldo, he added: "This is not true. Cristiano is an important player to our team."
Real have lost their last two games - 3-2 to Sevilla and the El Clasico defeat on Saturday - but Benitez was adamant he would not lose his job despite rumours suggesting otherwise when Perez called a news conference on Monday.
"In this situation all I can do is to concentrate on what I can do well," said Benitez, who succeeded Carlo Ancelotti in the summer.
"I have been in football for many years and perfectly understand that two defeats cannot result in firing."
Group A leaders Real travel to Ukraine to face Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday having already qualified for the knockout stage of the Champions League.
Defenders Sergio Ramos (shoulder) and Marcelo (groin) will miss the match.
