A moderately aged man, Tope Adegbehingbe, has clarified why he slaughtered his 86-year-old neighbor, Mrs Janet Oyeniyi, at Ajebambo town close Oniparaga in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Adegbehingbe, who was summoned before an Akure Chief Magistrates' Court yesterday, said he killed the octogenarian on the grounds that he saw her in his fantasy attempting to kill him.
In spite of the fact that Adegbehingbe's request was not taken as the court has no locale to enthrall murder trial, the charged, notwithstanding, said he took the measure on the grounds that the lady was a witch.
