Forty four ships laden with foods, general cargoes and petroleum products are expected at the Lagos ports from Nov. 26 to Dec. 18, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Thursday in Lagos.
This is contained in the daily ‘Shipping Position’ issued by NPA, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
The document said 15 of the ships would arrive the ports with containers, while eight others were expected with general cargoes.
It said that 12 other ships would sail in with sugar, buck wheat, bulk salt, crude pail oil and rice in bags.
According to the document, nine ships will sail in with diesel, petrol and kerosene.
NAN reports that seven other ships carrying rice, crude palm oil, diesel and petrol have arrived the ports, waiting to berth.
