The funeral of the Vincent Enyeama's late mum held on Saturday in Urua Inyang, Akwa Ibom State
Super Eagles captain and number one goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama on Friday and Saturday October, 2 &3 held the funeral of his late mum Mrs. Lucy Philip Enyeama.
Mrs. Lucy Philip Enyeama died in September forcing the goalkeeper to miss out on the Super Eagles 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tanzania which ended in a goalless draw and a 2-0 win over Niger Republic in a friendly game.
The burial rites of late Mrs Lucy Enyeama began on Friday with a Night of Songs at the Christ The King Church (CKC), Barracks Road, Uyo.
On Saturday, there was a burial mass which were attended by Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, Deputy Governor Mr. Moses Ekpo (MFR) the Secretary to the State Government, Sir Etekamba Umoren and the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick.
Also present were NFF Executive Committee member, Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu, former Super Eagles’ skipper Joseph Yobo and the President-General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Dr. Rafiu Oladipo, among other eminent personalities.
