President Mohammadu Buhari on Saturday held a mystery meeting with previous President Olusegun Obasanjo in New York in an offer to quiet the strain going ahead in the All Progressive Congress (APC) over the trial of the disputable Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
The meeting which was held behind shut entryway at the Millennium Plaza Hotel in New York went on for around 45 minutes.
Sources who were a meeting's piece at its initial minutes before being pardoned said that the previous president had called the convention officers of President Buhari to plan the discussions keeping in mind the end goal to argue for a delicate arriving for Saraki.
On the other hand, previous Ekiti State representative, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, was located at the room's entryway where the meeting occurred, and all endeavors to talk with him demonstrated worthless as he was caught up with battling with security men who over and again ceased him from picking up passage.
All endeavors by newsmen to talk with Obasanjo on his way to his lodging after the meeting met a block divider as his security men kept any meeting from occurring.
Obasanjo even needed to alert his security men that: "E fi won s'ile", signifying "allow them to sit unbothered".
