12 wives of Boko Haram activists have surrendered to individuals from Civilian JTF in Borno. The ladies surrendered after their spouses relinquished them in the hedge. The ladies when questioned said their spouses left them in the backwoods because of absence of sustenance and fuel supply.
A Leader of state vigilante bunch in Mussa District in Askira-Uba neighborhood government territory of Borno state, Apagu Istifanus, said the ladies surrendered in the middle of Monday and Tuesday this week..
"On Monday 4 of them came to Askira after exhaustive examination, they let us know that their spouses could no more bolster them that they are numerous in the hedge yet more were all the while coming, they have been taken to Biu town for more data. Recently at around 4 pm another 8 surfaced once more, two of them a while pregnant,. Their spouses had abandoned them and their youngsters at Ngude town in Damboa nearby government range. In any case, we have given over to the military. They have moved them to Mubi," Apagu said.
