A previous Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio, was on Tuesday evening flown out of Nigeria to get therapeutic consideration abroad.
It was learnt that the representative, in organization with around five assistants, left the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja on board a standard private stream that he normally goes with. It was learnt that the previous representative was passed on to his air ship by a landing area transport.
Sources at the airplane terminal told Punch that Akpabio and his group landed at the General Aviation Terminal, neighborhood wing, of the air terminal around 12.40pm.
An authority of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, who saw the representative while he spoke the truth to board his air ship, said, "He (Akpabio) was at the GAT neighborhood wing of the air terminal and one of the landing area transports was utilized to pass on him to his flying machine. He exited around 20 minutes to 1pm.
"The flight passing on him on the outing navigated to the universal terminal from where it took off. The previous representative went with his own particular private flight and had around five persons who went with him on the trek."
Akpabio, who is as of now the Minority Leader of the Senate, was included in an auto crash on his way to the air terminal to get a global flight on Monday after his Jeep ignored movement.
