Manchester United's Spanish goalkeeper, David de Gea, confirmed that he would be returning to "Manchester" on Monday to join his, as yet, current team for the start of the "pre-season", revealing he was "calm" despite the rumours circulating regarding a possible move to Real Madrid.
"Real Madrid? I have to train there. I have to go back to Manchester for the pre-season", De Gea told Spanish TV's 'Cuatro' reporter. The United keeper also assured he was keeping "calm" while the media storm rages on whether he will be in the Spanish capital for next season.
The International, due to travel back to the UK sometime today or tomorrow, will have to face Dutch coach Louis Van Gaal, who has made no bones about the fact that he is unamused by the reports flying around concerning the Old Trafford goalkeeper's future
