Two suspected outfitted criminals, who work in grabbing bikes, met their Waterloo in Onitsha on Tuesday.
The suspected hooligans, who have purportedly been threatening inhabitants of Nkpor and its environs, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra state, were situated on fire by furious horde.
The end wanted the thieves when they endeavored to loot a Northern merchant at weapon point. The dealer who came to acquire merchandise at the Nkpor New tire business was blocked by the thieves at the street side under according to inhabitants.
As per an observer, the thieves working on their bicycle, halted the broker along the Onitsha/Enugu road, near to the business sector, and requested him to hand over the cash he was conveying in a sack to them.
The source revealed that, "As he was going to oppose the request, they shot at him for three back to back times yet the projectile did not infiltrate his body.
"Seeing that the projectile did not infiltrate, they detected threat and were going to flee when the merchant drew out his knife and cut one of them on the midsection.
"Good fortune, then again, came up short on them as an on-impending vehicle hit their bicycle and they both tumbled off".
He included that "the individuals who were viewing the episode instantly prepared themselves, swung to a swarm, captured the two burglars and set them on fire".
On a tip off, the police raged the scene, recuperated their firearm and motorbike.
