Omg: 5 Policemen Monitoring Elections In Lagos Involved In Car Accident [See Photo]

Five Policemen including a Divisional Police Officer were involved in a that occurred at Wasinmi area along Lagos – Abeokuta expressway in Ewekoro local government area of the State.

The Police were monitoring the ongoing Governorship and State A$$embly elections when the accident occurred. The policemen had serious injuries from the accident.

An eyewitness according to the Daily Times said the rickety hilux bus of the Nigeria Police Force with registration number is NPF 8182 C belonging to Ewekoro Divisional Police had its front tyre bursted before it somersaulted several times leaving its occupants serious injured.

It was also gathered that the Divisional Police Officer, identified as B.O. Bakare was posted from Ado Odo division to monitor election in the area. Others involved in the accident includes one Ologbese Vincent,Nuhu and two others whose their identities could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

Ologbose  was seriously injured with bl00d stains all over his body while one has his leg broken and others wriggling in serious pains One of the officers, Oyewole Afolabi who was involved in the accident was fuming and shouting that he has warned them that he is not going with them as they were not posted to the area.

Oyewole,who is a Corpor@l lamented that the driver of the bus was on high speed,noted that the driver has dozed off.

There were a series of accident on Saturday during the election process as police tried to take down hooligans who had snatched ballot boxes. One such accident occurred in Imo state and claimed at least the lives of three people.
