Fabio Cannavaro has been sentenced to 10 months in jail.
His crime: swimming in a pool in his own house.
Cannavaro had defied orders to stay off of the property, which he built in Naples, Italy.
The property was closed off after local prosecutors found out that Cannavaro had built parts of the construction without properly applying for planning permission before adding the features.
Cannavaro filed an appeal against the sentence, which has temporarily postponed his punishment, and he might be able to avoid jail time, should he win the appeal.
