The 2015 January transfer window closed 11:59pm on Monday.

As expected of some clubs to make last moves for their interests, players had to board late night flights to their new destinations.

Most notably is the deadline deal involving Chelsea and Fiorentina for the services of 26 year-old Colombia international, Juan Cuadrado, who’s been a subject of long speculation since the year began.

He will be wearing jersey number 23 on a four and a half year deal worth £27m
The transfer also involved some Nigerian being traded or brought in.

West Brom finally traded Brown Ideye in a transaction that cost the club close to 6 Million pound short of his purchase price.

Ideye joined from Ukrainian club, Dynamo Kyiv in a 10 Million pound deal but leaves for a reported near 4 Million pound deal to Qatar club, Al Gharafa.

Ideye’s move to the Hawthorns last year made record for the club’s highest transfer, and his departure also set the record for the biggest waste in the history of the club.

He was brought in by former manager, Alain Irvine and sold by Tony Pulis after scoring just 2 goals in 17 games.

Yakubu Aiyegbeni also makes a return to England on a short-term free transfer deal with Reading after he was released by Qatar club, Al Rayyan

Rather of a shocker it would be to some while to others it is a case of Unitd not putting money where they have their mouth in Paul Pogba's transfer talk.

The 21 year-old Frenchman left Old Trafford in 2012 and since the World Cup in Brazil, the Red Devils have been fighting tooth and nail to bring the Juventus prospect back to the Theatre of Dreams
