A faith-based group, Charis Royale Initiative, has expressed support for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj.Gen Muhammudu Buhari (retd.).
Speaking on the organisation’s decision, the convener of the group, Pastor Dele Adeogun, said the organisation’s decision to endorse Buhari and his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osibajo (SAN), was in line with its mission to promote good governance.
He said, “God reserves the prerogative of deciding who He wants to use for his own purpose and that he can use just about anybody to achieve his purpose. In Judges 11, Israel was under attack from the Ammonites the same way, we are under attack from the Boko Haram, God used a ‘reject’ called Jephath to wrought deliverance” he said.
Adeogun added that the organisation’s primary objective was to create awareness and mobilise a Christian agenda for positive leadership at all levels in order to ensure rapid national growth
