A stunning free kick from Miralem Pjanic was the icing on the cake for Roma as they beat Inter 4-2 in Sunday’s Serie A encounter at the Stadio olimpico.
The home side took the lead in the first half through Gervinho and dominated the period, but an Andrea Ranocchia goal ensured the sides went in level at the break.
Jose Holebas restored Roma’s lead two minutes after the restart, though, finishing off an excellent run with a lovely strike which flew past Samir Handanovic.
Pablo Osvaldo tied things up once again with a goal against his former side just 10 minutes later but Rudi Garcia’s side responded immediately, with Miralem Pjanic tucking it into the net to make it 3-2.
The Bosnia-Herzegovina international brought a remarkable end to the clash with a stunning free kick in stoppage time to open up a two goal lead for his side.
