According to the Chairman of the convention planning committee, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, who spoke at a press briefing in Abuja, on Wednesday, the delegates, who are to converge on the Teslim Balogun Stadium, will elect the party’s presidential flag bearer who will challenge President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 election.
“As you may already be aware, our convention takes place on December 10 and 11 2014.
The venue of our convention is Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos State.
It would be at the clear view of all Nigerians. Those who are not opportune to be there would view it through the TV or follow it on social media,” Fayemi said.
The former governor also assured all five aspirants of the APC as well as Nigerians that his committee has put in place a transparent process which will lead to a credible outcome that will be acceptable to all.
