The First Lady of the United States is probably the only First Lady we know who can make dancing with a turnip look cool.
Michelle Obama is always advocating for healthy foods and for people to eat more vegetables. So in a fun vine video, playing off the 2014 hit song “Turn Down for What” by Lil Jon and DJ Snake, Michelle Obama cleverly changes the song’s words to “turnip for what” while bobbing her head.
According to reports, the video was in response to a President Barack Obama impersonator, Alphacat, who asked the First Lady via Vine: “How many calories do you burn every time you ‘turn up’?! #AskTheFirstLady #LetsMove.”
The White House responded with the Vine of the First lady, saying “Hey, Alphacat. The First Lady wants to know… #TurnipForWhat ? #AskTheFirstLady #TD4W.”
It’s not every day that the world gets to see the First Lady dancing to a hip-hop song.
